Pictures of Dragway 42 Junior Drivers

Ryan is 16 years old, a Sophomore at Midview High School.

This is his 9th year racing Junior Dragsters. In 2001 he finished 3rd at Dragway 42. In 2002 he was Runner-Up in the 15 year old class at NHRA East Coast Nationals. Ryan was the Dragway 42 Super Pro Dragster Champion.

Ryan says the dragster he was driving is Kidzilla 3, which was built by his Dad and his brother Robert in 1999. With Robert driving Kidzilla 3, it was track champion at Norwalk Raceway Park in 2000 and Dragway 42 in 2001. Ryan was out testing a new junior dragster.

Ryan was entered in the High School Nationals at Norwalk, May 18, 2003. There were approximately 700 cars, Ryan was in the final 17. You can see a picture of Ryan and the car he drives in High School class and Street.

Lyndsey Butler, age 13, has been driving Jr Dragsters for 2 years, this will be her 3rd year. Her first year she finished 2nd in points at Pacemakers Dragway Park, and 3rd at National Trail Raceway. Last year again finished 2nd in points at Pacemakers, by 1 point both 2003 and 2004. She has qualified for the NHRA division 3 finals in 2003 and 2004. Competed in the Eastern Conference Finals both 2003 and 2004. This year she is competing at Dragway 42 hopefully to get the chance to earn a spot for the IHRA finals at Norwalk to win the Ironman trophy. She is also a cheerleader in middle school.
